Welcome to a new season of theatre!
From the very beginning Ric and I wanted to grow a theatre company that has the potential to change lives. We believe theatre can do this. We’ve seen it happen many times. It really does have the power to heal the heart, soothe the soul, re-ignite a spark for life, and unite communities.
So we decided to create programming that would define Lyndesfarne as a trinity of education, outreach and live theatre. We currently run six exciting and unique programs for children, youth, young adults, emerging and professional artists, and older adults.
When it comes to our live theatre, we believe theatre is personal, political, and passionate; something to connect with, something to think about, and something that will inspire action. We think theatre should challenge and excite, and make us ask the big questions. When I go to the theatre, I want it to rock my world. I want theatre to shake me up inside, to make me think of nothing else but the story because it’s that good, and it demands that I must.
Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects is committed to this community. Come and see what we’re doing – right here in St. Catharines. It just might surprise you!
