DAPA, the Downtown Alliance for the Performing Arts is an alliance of seven Niagara-based professional theatre and dance companies that was launched in April 2008. The companies have been working together to grow audiences in downtown St. Catharines, promote theatre and dance activities and heighten the profile of the arts in St. Catharines. During the 2010-2011 season 10 companies showcase their productions In the Sullivan Mahoney Courthouse Theatre: Brock Centre for the Arts, Carousel Players, Essential Collective Theatre, Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects, NeXt Company Theatre, Niagara Dance Company, Stray Theatre, Suitcase in Point, Theatre A&A and Theatre Beyond Words.
These cultural organizations are proud partners of the eyeGO to the Arts program, encouraging high school students to attend live performing arts through a $5 ticket program.
Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects is an affiliate member of PACT (Professional Association of Canadian Theatres).
LTP engages under the Independent Theatre Agreement, professional theatre artists who are members of Canadian Actors Equity Association.
