Training begins Sunday, September 26th and runs twice weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00, and Sunday afternoons from 1:00 - 3:00 pm to Tuesday, November 30th, 2010.
Term two will begin January 16th March 27th,, 2011. There will be breaks during University Reading Week (February 21st 25th), and Spring Break (March 14th 18th).
Production rehearsals will begin March 28th and run until April 23rd, 2011, and include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday evenings, and Sunday afternoons. Times will be adjusted to reflect rehearsal needs and will be approximately 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on evenings, and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This is intensive training and rehearsal and should not be taken lightly. It is a large committment of your time and energy, and Lyndesfarne demands your full committment to this program. Performances run twice daily at Noon and 7:30 pm, from Tuesday, April 26th to Friday, April 29th, and Saturday, April 30th, at 2:00 pm, at The Mandeville Theatre at Ridley College.
Applicants will audition and interview. Please bring a photo (8 x 10 prefered), and cv/resume (regardless of your experience), to your audition. The audition will consist of a short contemporary piece and a verse or two of a song, although having a trained singing voice is not a pre-requisite nor does it guarantee a spot in Senior Class. The interview will be conducted by Artistic Director, Kelly Daniels and Young Company Instructors.
For more information, please call Kelly Daniels at 905-938-1222.
